The 14th Annual Main Street Mornington Festival Food, Wine & Performing Arts will be held in Main Street, Mornington on Sunday 18th October 2009 between 11a.m and 5p.m......
With seventy exhibitors - growers of fresh seasonal produce, delicious food and a large selection of Australia’s best wine makers, they will be showcasing what the Mornington Peninsula has to offer.
There will be three stages incorporating 14 local Peninsula based bands, a community stage as well as roving artists and musicians. Local art will also be a feature with a selection of artists demonstrating their skills and a children's arcade will be in Blake Street providing entertainment throughout the day.
The Main Street Festival proudly showcases the cultural lifestyle that its proud peninsula residents enjoy on a daily basis - bringing the elements together – wine, food, music, art, entertainment, shopping and fun.
The Northern Mornington Peninsula Tourism Association has been bringing this the most anticipated Festival to the community for 13 years, held annually on the 3rd Sunday in October. Last year the Festival attracted a crowd of 40,000 visitors.
