Kurt Gentle

Brooklands Local Talent Lounge

Kurt is one of Melbourne’s most loved singer-songwriters and a well seasoned, but young, solo musician amongst the Australian blues roots scene. He graces the stage in the most humble of ways, before delivering a beautifully crafted set. Full of high energy stomp, overdriven lap slide guitar, old school fingerstyle shred with a unique layer of soul giving songwriting. Playing a variety of instruments that mesh into one – numerous guitars, harmonica, stompbox, tambourine and vocals.
Kurt will get your toes tapping with his stomp and bold overdriven riffs, but he will also strip back and pull his heart from his chest and present it to you in the form of a beautifully raw piece of songwriting.
